100% Viognier, this spent 10 months on fine lees before bottling, which has contributed lusciousness of texture and complexity of flavour. To counterpoint this, freshness is in abundance with this lively, youthful 2015. Pale lemon-gold, aromas recall lifted, sweetly-scented apricots. Palate is full-bodied, rich and powerful; classic Viognier perfume is interwoven beautifully with delicate spice and mineral nuances. The finish is elegant, tense and long-lingering (for drinking as soon as shipped – 2020+).
