Located on a steep hillside just south of the hamlet of Blagny, this stony vineyard is consistently the last to be picked by the Domaine, as extra time is needed to ripen the grapes fully, at 400m altitude. The vines are now more than 30 years old, and the wine has aged 12 months in oak, of which 20% was new. Bright lemon-gold, this has aromas recalling pear and white peach, with some spice. The ripeness of the vintage shows in this wine’s rich palate, which has interesting threads of flavour running through it, leading to a lemony, long finish (for drinking 2019-2025+).
