Clos des Monsnières is a south-west facing, steeply sloping vineyard at the top of the Montagne de Beaune, directly below the pine trees. It has calcareous, limestone soils with and thin red, ferrous layer that adds to the exquisite complexity of the wine. Franck Grux loves this vineyard, and is sorry to produce only three barrels this vintage. The wine is brightly coloured, lemon-green, with beautifully floral, ripe aromas. This is a complete, sensual mouthful, very finely textured, stony, complex, vivid and long lasting. For magnificent drinking from 2017 – 2020+.
