The soils where these 90 year-old vines grow are rich in limestone, giving intense fruit and liveliness to this wine. It fermented in oak barrels (of which 15% were new), matured in them until July 2016, then rested in tank until bottling in November. Pale lemon-gold in colour, this has clean, light, fine aromas. Palate is medium-bodied, with rich, fresh fruitiness and fine, harmonious aftertaste. A beautiful wine, and great value (for drinking 2017-2020+).
