In the 2014 vintage this vineyard was badly affected by the June hailstorm. The remaining fruit, although lacking quantity, was beautifully ripe and in vigorous health. This is an open, richly concentrated wine, with vivid, citrus freshness and powerful length of flavour. It will need a little bottle-age to show its spicy complexities (for drinking 2017-2020+).
