This is 100% Syrah from the iron-rich, south-facing, schist slope of the Côte Rozier vineyard, located on the Côte Brune side. In 2015, this is a more powerful, monolithic Côte Rôtie style. Incisive dark cherry aromas lead to a full, tightly-knit palate. There is beautiful lift and precision here: this is a taut, intense wine that needs time to show it underlying complexities (for drinking 2026-38+).
