The wine comes principally from Les Santenots du Milieu, with some grapes also from the vineyard’s lower section. It is ageing in 25%-30% new barrels, which its dense fruitiness is easily absorbing. This is deep purple-ruby, with fresh black fruits aromas, fine and open. On the palate, it is powerfully structured, with a full-bodied attack, then harmonious, impressive layers of flavour, leading to fine tannins and freshness which are harmonious and well integrated (for drinking 2019-2028+).
