These vines are in a perfectly-situated, mid-slope plot, on the elegant side of the commune, leading to Vosne-Romanée. It is always one of the richest, most complex Nuits-Saint-Georges we know. Colour is attractive, mid-deep ruby-purple, aromas being powerful, showing ripe black fruits with spiciness. Full, round fruit is immediately apparent on first tasting, allied with supple, silky texture. This is a charming, beautifully balanced wine (for drinking 2020-2028+).
