These vines are in a perfectly-situated, mid-slope plot, and, like Les Damodes, are also on the elegant side of the commune, leading to Vosne-Romanée. It is always one of the richest, most complex Nuits-Saint-Georges we know. Colour in 2014 is medium deep, the nose being very ripe and fine. This is a powerful, richly structured wine, of magnificent, dense fruitiness, gentle tannins and superb length (for drinking 2019-2030+).
