The secrets of the success of this superb cuvée of Pinot Noir are the careful selection of grapes from some of the Côte de Beaune’s best communes, judicious ageing in oak barrels (of which approx. 20% are new) and meticulous bottling, at just the right moment. This wine has attractive garnet-purple colour of medium depth, with splendidly open, ripe Pinot aromas. Palate shows excellent, rich fruitiness, fine tannins being discreetly present. The wine has charming fruit and fine length (for drinking 2017-2020+).
