A high limestone content in the soil gives this red Auxey vitality and delicate perfume. The grapes were in excellent health, so 25% of whole bunches, without de-stemming, were included in the fermentation. This has brought ripely complex, open aromas to a wine whose colour is pretty, purple-ruby. Palate shows impressive structure, with well-judged balance between freshness, fruit and gentle tannins (for drinking 2017-2022+).
