This is a superb wine, and brilliant value, but only three barrels were made (less than 75 cases of 12 bottles), so we recommend a speedy decision if you love good Savigny. 30% whole, uncrushed bunches went into the fermenting vat, which undoubtedly contributed to this wine’s opulently spicy aromas and long aftertaste. The palate is mouthfilling and charming – bursting with bright, red and dark berry flavours. Thanks to the organic cultivation, there is a judicious level of natural acidity bringing freshness and vivacity. The finish is harmonious and fine (for drinking 2015-2022+).
