Guy Farge’s domaine is situated in the village of Saint-Jean de Muzols, one of the finest communes of the Saint-Joseph appellation in the Northern Rhône. As the name suggests, the vines for this Saint-Joseph cuvée grow on granite terrasses, contributing to this wine`s mineral, fine-boned palate and pure, floral scent. Deep ruby-purple in colour, aromas are beautifully expressive, recalling violets and sweet black cherries. This is a medium bodied, silkily textured, supple wine, with focused berry flavours, delicate spice, and ripe-yet-fresh tannins. The finish is long and harmonious.
